Adoptee-Rights Activism Made Super-Easy!

Question:

- Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Come visit Bastard Nation’s new ONLINE ACTIVISM Page at http://www.bastards.org/online.htm Links to pages where you can directly effect legislative action in TEXAS and PENNSYLVANIA as well as raise public awareness through media campaigns in NEW YORK and ILLINOIS.  If you live, were born/relinquished/adopted in any of these states, your voice will be especially helpful.  Come participate and feel good about DOING SOMETHING about open records for adult adoptees!  :) I visited the site and I asked a couple of other people via posts but never got a reply, so I’ll try again!  Is anything being done in Michigan and who would I contact.  Thanks. Kathy

Kathy: There are several sites in Michigan that may be helpful to you; try http://www.migov.state.mi.us and http://www.michfed.org/index2.html I don’t think there are any "sample letters" (so, okay, it’s not activism made super-easy, but it’s a start!), but it might be worth your time to see what’s there.
