I always got along great with Hispanic cops when I lived in NYC, which was a better part of my life, Chris

Response:

Ancestry makes me Irish mostly. I believe that none of my grandparents (4) came from Ireland. The next step back however gets murky. We know Great Grandmom Sue came over with her husband . And we know my Grandpop was half English becuase his parents, some of my Great Grands, came over to flee persecution being the Irish and the English wern’t getting along well back then. And if you have an Englishman who marries an Irish Girl nobody is going to like either one of you…..at that time. My other grandmom, her folks immigrated here. Now her husband, my other grandpop? He drove a team of horses pulling a wageon. Have a picture of him sitting there holding the reins. And he played the Piano around town for Dances and Bars. This is the murky part. He died young. So his father stepped in to help care for the two boys. This Greatgrand pop had a farm/barroom outside of town on the way towards Princeton. His wife died and he married a full blooded Cherokee who he supposedly mistreated horribly. Then…..the name, the family name goes straight back to a picture of my Great Great Great Grandfather. So after I shuffle all the pieces togther ignore some anomalies I declare myself to be 100 percent Third generation Irish american. To say anything else is misleading. Yes one Great Grand was half English. Yes my famly name is older then three generations by alot. The Cherokee lady was not a blood relative. So it is in round numbers, I’m 100% Irish and a third generation American. Damo

One more thing….the matriarchal side of the one line is unknown. So….who knows? But still going through great Grands I have 6 pure Irish, 1 english, and 1 bearing an Irish name but the exact matriarchal lines of that one are uncertain. So maybe seven and half to one and a half.   All eight and I’d be pure Irish. Besides back in those times the predjudice against the Irish was pretty severe so it is likely even the one line that goes back to great great great Grand is likely to have a predominance of Irish. Especially considering that line also was Catholic. Damo

Since I was born in NYC, I am American, thankfully. Both my parents were born during the Nazi era in Berlin Germany. Chris

Response:

All gov’t forms require me to answer ""American". Don’t let those pencil pushers tell you you have to say anything about your ancestry, they’ll screw up the forms to make you "Un-American".

Response:

I am Italian-american, with a little bit of Irish, and albanian. I’m caucasian, on the other hand. Being I have pale skin. But I have a nasty attitude. "Ilyas Akhmadov" <akhmadov-no-s…@chechnya.ru> wrote in message
