Obviously, some of our short-sighted bretheren on this 4×4 forum cannot see the connection between these issues and 4 wheeling.   First of all, if the topic puts your undies in such a bunch, try READING THE SUBJECT LINE.  No one forced you to read my post.   Secondly, if I were one of the radical environmentalists whose agenda is to eliminate motorized recreation, I’d be salivating over the intelligence level of some of these responses. I’m not planning on leaving the defense of open public land and motorized recreation to these idiots.  I plan to be involved, and hope others who share our interest in ‘wheeling will get off their a$$es and see what’s going on. You may wake up one day and find a "closed" sign on some of your favorite public trails. Dan Wilson

Liberals with an elitist "we know what’s best for everyone" attitude are constantly attempting to erode freedom.  From guns to motorized off road recreation to simply hiking through the woods, they believe no one is smart enough or has the right to make their own choices.   What do we do?  First of all, eat more meat.  Then join groups and organizations with lobbying power in Washington, and communicate with your representatives.  Let them know how you feel. The left is lobbying constantly, and is well organized.  If you let other people fight your fight, the left will win. Enough about that….. back to ‘wheelin! Dan Wilson
