The Traitor Abdul Haq

Question:

Actually, "Mullah" Omar is the traitor to Islam. While Abdul Haq and Ahmed Shah Massoud were fighting the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, where was Omar? He was safe and sound teaching in a school in Pakistan. The Taliban may rap themselves in Islamic garb but their bloodthirsty policies are identical to the communists. They have a totalitarian party structure and Leninist show-trials of political opponents. That is why they must murder true Muslims like Abdul Haq and Massoud.

This execution followed a Shari’ah verdict issued by Mullah Omar and Muslim scholars in Afghanistan. The verdict rested on several Fatwa which stated that anyone actively cooperating with American forces and their Crusader allies in their war against Muslims has made themselves an apostate. The Shari’ah punishment for such apostacy is death. AIDING THE MUSHRIKEEN IN THEIR ATTACKS IN AFGHANISTAN IN ANY FORM, WITH THE INTENTION TO AID DEMOCRACY, OR TO DEFEAT THE SHAREE’AH OF ISLAM – IS APOSTACY FROM ISLAM BY CONSENSUS

Response:

Does this "Abdul" ever try and back up his posts when people come along and comment on their shortcomings? Wonder why? Delboy

So that’ll include the President of Pakistan? Of course it will, you said it yourself. War against muslims? I’ve no idea what your talking about. A war against an organistation who potentially could one day detonate mushroom clouds in any country in the world. Delboy

The only way any atrocity can be justified is by convincing yourself that your victim is either (A) inferior and his death would thus be part of the natural order of things, or (B) purely evil and his death would be a typing of cleansing for the human species. What kind of a barbarian Haq might of been is irrelevant in the above. The reality is that a man who wanted his nation to have a little more religious and ethnic freedom was executed for being an "apostate" simply because he sought help from others who could help attain his hoped for level of "equality." Now, I think Haq’s sense of "equality" would’ve still been laced with typical fanaticism, but at least there would have been more freedom for the conglomerate of ethnicities and sects (note that Isma’ilis and other Shias, orthodox and non-orthodox, fight for the Northern Alliance against the Taliban, which is oppressive even by Shia standards). By the above-mentioned fatwas, if a person wanted Afghanistan to obey laws concerning human rights, and sought American or British help, that person would be considered an apostate from Islam! The basic idea is that anyone who follows Western concepts of human rights is not a follow of Islam. Could that lead us to conclude that Islam and Western concepts of Human Rights are mutually exclusive? I think so. With that, some may say I am ignoring the more important point… the real crime is siding with the kuffaar rather than the Muttaqeen. This too reflects poorly on Islam, as it seems to imply that one must always support the Muslims over the non-Muslims, not matter how wrong the Muslim side may be.

Response:

Shari’ah law is total crap. It’s based on an eye for an eye, but as no punishment ever equals the crime, it just breeds a cycle of violence, as seen in Israel, and as we will continue to see in Afghanistan until the Taliban are deposed. Civilised law looks at the good of society, not punishment. Islam will be stuck in the stone age until it realises that justice should be for the good of the people, not the good of an ignorant Islamist regime.

And without the 40 virgins supplied by the great Allah-pimp, I suppose? – GiG –

Response:

Abdul Haq was one of the few decent Afgans that actually wanted a better future for the Afgan People. Congratulations Taliban you’ve just extingushed one of the few beacons of light in your country. Don’t listen to the efforts of those like Mr Aziz who actually believe that your fatwas are worth anything at all. I hope that the same standards of ‘justice’ are applied to you and all who support you.
