Andy, let’s just take a look at your crime syndicate’s public buggering again, shall we?
snip The Scientology crime syndicate sent hired goons out to his daughters college campus out in the Redlands in Southern California — in part to let her know that they could "get to" her any time they wanted to, and in part to spread libel about her human rights activist father in the campus. The campus police afforded Mr. Henson’s daighter protection from the Scientology crime syndicate and they put an immediate stop to the crooks coming on to campus where they had no business.
From a posting of mine (you can find on google) July 22, 2000 Keith Henson At least three of them [PIs] followed me over to Ontario to the airport where I picked up my wife and daughter. My daughter is going to a nearby college this fall, and we were going there to discuss the hard-to-believe threats (made by Rosen on the last deposition transcript) against her with the university administration. I made a few tries to shake them in the airport and got the airport police to stop one of them and shake him down for identification. My wife was very, very annoyed at these bozos, and tried to confront one of them, but when she got near he backed up, then drove ahead. She worked off some of the energy by chasing him down the freeway shoulder for a quarter mile or so. At that point she jumped back in the car and we chased him down I 10 to the west. (There was no license plate on this one, new car, gold color, which said Villa Honda). The guy got tape of her shaking a fist and yelling at him. (My wife tends to take clams/clam PIs too seriously.) This dude took the I 15 exit, so we followed him north a few exits, while on the phone with the California Highway Patrol. They couldn’t get a unit in place and in any case, following someone is not a crime if you have a PI license. Eventually we went back to I 10 and on out to Redlands with at least two and I think three PI cars following. We wondered if the streets in Redlands college were private and the PIs could be told by campus security to knock it off, so we called them as we were turning onto the campus. Boy, did we get a response! I managed to get one of the PIs tangled up on a narrow road and the campus security trapped him there. Edwin Richardson was in the other car which came by to bail the first one out of this jam. The campus security called the Redlands cops and a number of them responded. It was a zoo for a while with 2 or three PIs, four cop cars and about 6 cops. As usual the cops concluded that there was nothing they could do about it, but the hoorah sure solved our problem of getting the university people to *believe* our mad story about being hassled by the evil cult and the threat Rosen made against our daughter. (I got a bunch of names of security people and cops, but it seems pointless to include them.) Anyway, the university people were boggled by the trapped PI story which rapidly spread around campus, and had no problem believing our story, especially when the administration got a phone call within ten minutes of the confrontation with campus security asking if my daughter was enrolled there. The University does not give out such information, so the only thing the phone call confirmed was the ugly nature of the cult of scientology. We didn’t see any more of them, though they might have followed us back to Ida’s. — Send information concerning incidents of racketeering and terrorism by the Scientology cult to the Domestic Terrorism PGP Key: http://www.skeptictank.org/frice.pgp

None of which does you any good when at any moment the traffic clears all Scientology crooks need to do is drive up in one of their white vans and push you in through the sliding doors, never to be seen again. If it’s a question as to whether you think they’re capable of doing that, Keith, I’ll remind you that they followed your children and Mr. Minton’s children, letting both of you know that you were unable to guarentee their safety. I would be tempted to agree completely if it weren’t for the fact that almost all of the victims that fall for Scientology’s scams honestly thought believed that they were doing something good for humanity some how. They were swindled, lied to, and brainwashed by the Scientology organization first and foremost, after all. That they’re forced to give up Christianity, Judism, or whatever real religious beliefs they may have is something that they’re forced to do long after they’ve been brainwashed and swindled. — Send information concerning incidents of racketeering and terrorism by the Scientology cult to the Domestic Terrorism PGP Key: http://www.skeptictank.org/frice.pgp

So many victims of Scientology get suckered in, though, through fake front groups like NarCONon and such. People who don’t know any better yet sign up for Scientology not knowing that it _is_ Scientology can’t be held to blame, I think, since they’ve been lied to. Most people now know that NarCONon is Scientology but it hasn’t always been the case. It’s only after the victim’s been soundly suckered in and has been subjected to brainwashing that the anti-Christ, "Satanic" programming really begins in ernest. If Jesus Christ exists, I’d expect that he would have compassion and widom to the point where such people — which is the vast majority of victims who fell for Scientology — are forgiven. Rather sick if you ask me. You should also know that not all of their victims have been members of their cult. They have murdered people who are not members and never have been, in order to silence them. Such people did not "abandon the God of their fathers". If you say so!
Some times it’s as easy and unthinking as filling out a "free personality test" and before the victim knows it, they’re purchasing Scientology’s "OT8" documents wherein they’re told to believe that Jesus Christ was a pedophile. But long before that they buy the tapes and documents which claim that Jesus Christ was a movie — a video tape called an "inplant" shown to murdered space aliens by Lord Xenu, galactic ruler. It’s hard to accept that the people who fall for Scientollogy are all responsible for supporting evil. Satan works to deceive humanity and in Scientology Satan has found a very good tool. — Send information concerning incidents of racketeering and terrorism by the Scientology cult to the Domestic Terrorism PGP Key: http://www.skeptictank.org/frice.pgp

Had it not been for Mz. Helena Kobrin, Mr. Heith Henson never would have started investigating the latest homicides out at Scientology’s heavily armed and fortified compound at Gilman Hot Springs. Thanks to Helena Kobrin prompting Mr. Henson’s criminal investigations, neither the latest "accidental" homicide of Stacy Moxon nor the gruesome manslaughter of Ashlee Shaner was allowed to be quietly swept under the rug like so many others before them. This Keith must be another guy with a set of those titanium balls I’ve been hearing so much about. I wish him success, best of luck, etc. $ientology is an impressively sick and evil religion.
<heh Uncrushable balls? Yep. Yet Mr. Henson has also been rather ___STUPID___ at times in that he was out there picketing and protesting alone walking along side the little marker for Ashlee Shaner where she was killed. Alone. Yeah, it’s the right place to protest since it’s the site of that homicide yet doubtlessly there was a rifle trained on him at all times while he was out there alone. — Send information concerning incidents of racketeering and terrorism by the Scientology cult to the Domestic Terrorism PGP Key: http://www.skeptictank.org/frice.pgp

Obviously he felt it was neccessary, and worth the risk of his life. Anyway, if he’s pissing them off that much they could track him down and kill him for what he says even when he is with people. — Atheist Number Fifteen Score and Seventeen

I first called Mr. Henson a heroic person on April 4, 1998, and he has remained a credit to the United States ever since. Whistleblowers are very, very important. We need them. Mr. Henson blew the whistle on NOTs 34 and it got Scientology a little upset, so they are trying to teach a lesson via the railroad. Scientology could crush Mr. Henson into dust and it wouldn’t change the abuses of people and the law Scientology has perpetrated, nor the will of people to speak out about them. Let’s see what started it all: To: alt.religion.scientology – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I heard back from my Congresswoman’s office today. A staff member made an inquiry of Judge Whyte’s staff and received a fax copy of the injunction which prohibits me from giving a copy of NOTs 34 to the FDA. A fair statement would be that there were some *very* raised eyebrows at such a creative use of copyright law. I mentioned the secret deal scientology and the IRS made, and they were already *fully* up on that situation–it seems that several people had written. There seems to be a rather high level of concern about undue influence on the IRS. Reading a certain document into the Congressional record was taken under advisement. A while back there was a detailed analysis of what the heavy scientology jargon in NOTs 34 means. If the person who did that could clip out non fair use material and send it on to this Congresswoman’s staff, that might be appreciated. Thanks, Keith Henson
What is NOTs 34? Is it a criminal instruction manual? What is the theory and theology behind it? I’ve never been in the Scientology cult. My entire involvement consists solely of reading and posting to alt.religion.scientology. Virtually all of my information comes from things I’ve read on publicly-accessible portions of the Internet. I will do my best to give my own understanding of the situation. Anytime you see "[...]" it means I have edited out a portion of text. Let’s first look at what Henson claims. Here is an excerpt from RTC v Henson, Apr 15 1997, ORDER DENYING DEFENDANT’S EX PARTE MOTION FOR LEAVE TO CONSIDER CONTENT CONTRARY TO THE RULES: [...] Henson also argues that the purpose of his posting is to educate the public and that this purpose overrides copyright law. See Opposition at 10:8-9, 11:10-22. He explains that "the posting was done in order to aid the public interest by warning the public against an unobvious danger of harm, established by a previous court order. [8] He claims that NOTs Series 34 is a "criminal instruction manual for the illegal practice of medicine, and it violates a Court order which expressly forbids Scientology to claim to be healing by using the E-meter." Henson suggests that where there is a matter of public safety involved, the concept of fair use should be extended. The limited commentary in Henson’s posting does not reveal that Henson’s purpose was to educate the public about the alleged criminal content of NOTs Series 34. Further, Henson does not sufficiently explain why he needed to post the entire text of NOTs Series 34 to educate the public. The posting may be viewed, at best, as a criticism designed to stimulate discussion, as his stated reason set forth in his March30, 1996 posting is to "discuss any parts of NOTS which amount to manuals for criminal activities." [...] [Footnote 8:] [8] Henson is apparently referring the an order issued by Judge Gesell in United States v. An Article or Device "Hubbard Electrometer." et al., 333 F. Supp. 357 (D.D.C. 1971), which he claims "forbids the Church of Scientology and all related organizations from claiming to heal using an ‘E-meter."’ Henson calls NOTs 34 a "criminal instruction manual." What makes it criminal? Henson says it violates a court order. What was the order issued by Judge Gesell? Here are some excerpts: The device should bear a prominent, clearly visible notice warning that any person using it for auditing or counseling of any kind is forbidden by law to represent that there is any medical or scientific basis for believing or asserting that the device is useful in the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease. It should be noted in the warning that the device has been condemned by a United States District Court for misrepresentation and misbranding under the Food and Drug laws, that use is permitted only as part of religious activity, and that the E-meter is not medically or scientifically capable of improving the health or bodily functions of anyone. Each user, purchaser, and distributee of the E-meter shall sign a written statement that he has read such warning and understands its contents and such statements shall be preserved. Any and all literature which refers to the E-meter or to auditing, including advertisements, distributed directly or indirectly by the seller or distributor of the E-meter or by anyone utilizing or promoting the use of the E-meter, should bear a prominent notice printed in or permanently affixed to each item or such literature, stating that the device known as a Hubbard Electrometer, or E-meter, used in auditing, has been condemned by a United States District Court on the grounds that the literature of Dianetics and Scientology contains false and misleading claims of a medical or scientific nature and that the E-meter has no proven usefulness in the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease, nor is it medically or scientifically capable of improving any bodily function. [...] APPENDIX A Representative Documents Found to be Non-Religious, and Samples of False or Misleading Claims Found Therein 1. Eight-page pamphlet, entitled "What is Scientology?" [...] "The first science to determine the basic cause of disease. "The first science to contain exact technology to routinely alleviate physical illnesses with complete predictable success. "The first science of mind to prove conclusively that physical illness can stem from mental disturbance, a fact which Freud held only as a theory, and only seldom demonstrated." [...] (3) Hard back book, 452 pages, entitled "Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health," by L. Ron Hubbard. [...] "It contains a therapeutic technique with which can be treated all inorganic mental ills and all organic psycho-somatic ills, with assurance of complete cure in unselected cases. [...] "Dianetics brings forth the nongerm theory of disease, complementing bio-chemistry and Pasteur’s work on the germ theory to embrace the field. [...] The Judge ordered that the Meter can not be claimed to be useful in the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease. Now, let’s look at NOTs. In particular, does NOTs 34 make that claim? NOTs is a set of once-secret documents. Since they were placed on the Internet, they are now informally available to anyone. NOTs documents are instruction manuals for "auditors" trained by the cult – Judge Gesell ordered that E-Meters only be used by trained cult members. Each manual guides the auditor in the use of the Meter. The title of NOTs 34 is "THE SEQUENCE FOR HANDLING A PHYSICAL CONDITION". NOTs 34 says that a physical condition such as a stomach poisoning can be handled by using the meter to detect and remove the "BTs" infesting your body and causing the condition. Other documents make it clear that BT is a "body thetan." A thetan is the soul of a being who lived on one of scores of nearby member planets of the galactic confederation. Seventy-six million years ago, the ruler of the confederation, named Xenu, solved overpopulation on his planets by killing hundreds of billions of inhabitants. He froze their thetan … read more »
