Hi Dawn: Just a couple of things…first of all, the Urologist doesn’t have to be listed in the Phone book to be legit, he/she could work directly for a Hospital (as mine does) and not have any offices outside of it and therefore not be listed in any Phone book anywhere.  Secondly, what you want the lawyer to do, is start a suit against these people no matter how long it takes, but more importantly you want the Media and your local Disability Advocacy group on your side.  They usually have lawyers come out of the woodwork who are geared up on this stuff and will run circles around hospital lawyers and the government. SO QUIT WASTING TIME AND DO SOMETHING NOW!!!!!!!!!!  Take care my special friend. Kate Dawn, Kate’s right.  Quebec Legal Aid will pay for the services of a legal aid lawyer, and will even pay for a private lawyer if he or she agrees to represent you. Another option – You don’t need a lawyer to make a complaint to the Commission des droits de la personne (Quebec Human Rights Commission).
