Announcing the new MoneyCult.ORG web site! My High School Project!

Question:

Bryan L. Rice, You are spitting image of dear old dad. Geez, talk about spitting out what Dad tells you.

What word didn’t you understand? inform him what’s inaccurate, mistaken, or just plain wrong?  Is there some reason why you cultists consistantly refuse to be specific?  I’m sure that Bryan will evaluate the validity of your suggestions and will make appropriate corrections where suitable.  So offer some _useful_ information for once and get those mistakes corrected, why don’t you? — You love drugs!  You love drugs, don’t you?!  You better not say anything about my mother!  Don’t you DARE say anything about my mother! — Scientology’s International President

Response:

Actually, the "xenu" story was for a brief time posted on the internet, several people who have not been "audited" have read it and, well, they didn’t burst into flames

Uh, sorry. In fact, I read it and *did* burst into flames. I burnt to the ground in 15 minutes, and had to be bulldozed and cleared for new developments. I am now, thanks to Scientology, built from double-brick and am fully fireproof. S — "The Church of Scientology is as generous as the members are stupid.  Constant giving is the price of membership, nothing monetary rolls  downhill.  No disaster so great, no human suffering so profound that  it causes money to roll downhill." – Ted Mayett

Response:

It’s like this.  If you have an opinion that walking into the middle of a busy street with cars bearing down on you in both directions at 35 mph or more isn’t the slightest bit dangerous, then I’d rather you keep it to yourself and not tell our school kids on many internet sites.  Got the picture?  It’s the same with false or misleading data about Prozac or ECT, false data about Scientology, it’s all in the same category of harmfulness.  It misguides people into making the wrong decisions for themselves and reduces their survival potential. Doesn’t this make any sense to you?

This makes sense to me.  Except for the facts, that is.  False data about Scientology, though, is what the psychlos put out about their cult, and it is dangerous, as it can mislead people into joining the cult.  We provide the facts about the criminal cult.  Ignore them at your peril. You also have false and misleading data about Mental Health.  Your ideas are dangerous, and wise people will ignore them.  The unwise may be fooled, but we’ll provide the truth for them so they still have a chance of making a wise decision. — Harold Pekteno, Ethics Officer, ARSCC (wdne) "Posters seeking to enturbulate ARS and only to enturbulate ARS must be handled without fail." — ARSCC Posting Policy 43 of 14 Feb 95

So those goofballs who still believe in the stories of OTs, BTs and NOTs from the guy with the DTs want to replace $cientology?  What’s the trade-off, outside of the Nazi behavior and the uniforms?

So let me get this straight, Phil or Tatiana, If I have an opinion that is different from yours (or Scientology’s), I’m doing evil and causing a damaging impact on honest, decent, innocent people? Hmmm,   I think a ‘Church’ started by a fiction writer (and not a terribly good writer, at that) would cause MUCH more damage to the world than a High School class project…. - Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – snippets from moneycult.org: "Through the short time that I have been researching Scientology, I have found out about a character named "Xenu." Xenu was a Galactic Ruler that Hubbard dreamed up one day to sell to his followers." No, it is as Mr. Hubbard has stated.  The data is factual, based on extensive and thorough research by him.  The fact that premature knowledge of this barbaric past of planet Earth may kill one, is the obvious reason why this data has been kept confidential by the Church.  Mr. Hubbard had no intention of people publicly distributing this data, as it is harmful to read it before one is fully prepared for it, as it can remind one of very painful memories. It is a terrible tragedy, but the people who have violated his wishes, did so with the vilest of intentions, that you 1) not know the importance of avoiding reading it before you were prepared for it, and 2) that you develop your own derogatory opinion of it before you ever find out whether or not it is true data or are in a position to fully understand it, so that 3) you have unwittingly harmed Mr. Hubbard, the Church and yourself and perhaps others, such that 4) you are now trapped with your own chain of misdeeds, which you 5) will find out all too soon are too hard for you to now make up for (it may be impossible to escape this trap, it may take very careful and perhaps extensive confessional auditing, since it deals with upper level data), so that 6) they will have recruited another innocent person into their anti-Scientology group.  It’s a recruitment operation with three main phases.  One, convince them with misinformation that the Church is or may be bad, two, have them harm it in some small or large way, and perhaps repeatedly, themselves so that they now think critically of it, and three, make sure that they have no access to or have no ability to understand any information which could possibly guide them to knowing how to recover from one and two or correct themselves. You’re now dead, any way you look at it.  Either your memory of this past era will kill you, or your own remorse after you find out what you have done to Mr. Hubbard or yourself or others will.  If you just pretend for a moment that the data is true and that Hubbard was a very good guy, and then if you feel remorse like you should try and make up for it (the damage to yourself, for instance), then you will see.  You’re fucked.  Bye, bye.  See you never.  Soon you will want to do this evil effect to others, too.  That will really seal your fate, believe me.

This is the ‘Wall of Fire.’  Dramatized over and over since the initial catastrophe, it has killed more civilizations than I care to remember.  The contagion spreads like a fire, the evil deeds (overts) multiply in type and frequency, the lies, collusion and corruption spread like a wildfire.  There is no stopping it with something like the Internet in place.  Sure it seems mild now, but wait until it’s constantly on the television and your OT case is restimulated without your knowledge morning, noon and night, by your family, co-workers and strangers in the street. Then you may find yourself going into work in the morning ‘all lit up.’  It actually looks like people are on fire — the body thetans put out a reddish glow — visible on theta perceptics which other people and their body thetans have.  People’s body thetans recognize it and are terrified or alarmed.  People won’t necessarily recognize what exactly is going on.  But I do, I was exposed to an OT being interrupted during an OT3 session, as he walked out of his auditing room ‘lit up.’  My body thetans recognized what was going on with his body thetans, and recorded what he looked like pretty good.  I did not know at the time what was going on, he just looked kind of flushed.  Now, I know what it was. People like Andreas take joy in being in the spotlight of it.  It will however end up burning them to a crisp.  The backflash and ramifications of evil done towards a LRH-created organization will be tremendous.  They will never live through it as thetans.  They will never ever again have another human lifetime. The only thing that is saving people on this planet is that they are still being too stupid and unaware to make any connection between the OT data and reality. This planetary population may already be too dead to realize that there is anything going on, and since they are not reacting as they normally would, perhaps nothing will happen.  Perhaps they are spiritually dulled by the monotony  and cruelty of the past, and do not even think about the future anymore.  It is frustrating.  What could happen, versus what should happen. I don’t always know what to recommend.  If you are like me and tend to get obsessed with dangerous subjects like the OT levels, then we both are probably in trouble.  If you just ignore critical web sites and the a.r.s. you will be better off, that is for sure.  Perhaps you can contribute to the International Association of Scientologists, which is dedicated to fighting the enemies of the Church.  The more money they have, the more likely they will be able to put out the little fires in the world, and prevent another catastrophe, like a world war. I hope so. Phil

The analogy is sensible, but irrelevant, as the critics of Scientology simply want to spread the truth. Indeed, the only ones spreading false or misleading data about Prozac or ECTor Scientology is the Church of Scientology itself. Indeed, the only harm we have seen in this case comes from Scientology itself. Hmmm,   I think a ‘Church’ started by a fiction writer (and not a terribly good writer, at that) And a very exceptionally bright and well-educated scientific mind, also. Don’t think that leaving that part out will convince anyone otherwise, because it simply isn’t true. A very good writer with an exceptional grasp of English grammar, as one expert in English (a professor) once wrote.

Being bright and well educated does not make one good (or bad) or makes one a good writer. Although there is nothing wrong with his grammar, his science fiction writing is average – he wouldn’t make the list of 100 best science fiction authors. And his "non-fiction" is rather obscure and difficult to follow. would cause MUCH more damage to the world than a High School class project…. Not at all.  High schools cannot compare to the education one receives in Scientology, even in the introductory courses.  Try that fact on for size by seeing for yourself at your local Church of Scientology.  Don’t quibble with me.  It’s a waste of time.  I know what I’m talking about.

Yes! High school teaches you things that are useful in life, which can’t compare with the useless drivel sold at Dianetics/Scientology. And I have seen that bizzare test, and have been to 2 different Dianetics/Scientology places. Don’t quibble with me.  It’s a waste of time.  I know what I’m talking about. And you have the nerve to call the kid who did the project

brainwashed?!?!?! Uh huh.  Offended?  That was my point.  All you people are offended by the facts, now that you have become transgressors and possibly can’t even admit it, even to your own selves.

Are you really that obtuse? I could also point out that you have become a transgressor and can’t even admit it even to yourself. At least he wasn’t converted by a cut-rate Science Fiction writer…. I wasn’t converted.  I was enlightened.  And I must say it is hard for me to think that I have really truly earned the amount of what I have received free of charge from L. Ron Hubbard in terms of knowledge, guidance and inspiration. Perhaps you too will someday do so.  Oh, not a chance?  Too bad.  Your loss. Phil

Free of Charge? ROTFLMAO! The initial (useless) test is free – Everything else costs Big Time! Beware of anyone trying to sell you Enlightenment. They are trying to sell you something they don’t have. CM

Response:

After reading the following passages by Phil, I see two possibilities: (1) That scientology is even loonier than I had thought possible, or (2) "Phil" is actually trying to destroy scientology by portraying it as LaLa Land Extreme. I have had some experiences with that cult, and they are their own worst enemy. They pretend that their beloved L.Ron is still alive and churning out books, in spite of being dead for many years. Scientology leaders don’t want the "Xenu" story getting out, because (1) they know how rediculous it is and how it would discourage people from joining, and (2) They want to sell it to their most gullible converts for a nice hefty fee. Actually, the "xenu" story was for a brief time posted on the internet, several people who have not been "audited" have read it and, well, they didn’t burst into flames or go mad or die of overwhelming guilt. No one died from it – it isn’t possible to die of laughter. Of course, Scientology promptly filed lawsuits for copyright infringements – the first "church" in history to do so! The "Xenu" story has been placed in the Swedish government archives where anyone can view a copy. Although Scientology has used their most vicious lawyers, the Swedish legal principle called "Offentlighetsprincipen" keeps it freely available, and there are no reports of Swedes dying from reading this "forbidden book". snippets from moneycult.org: "I have not known about the Church of Scientology for long but I know that they kill people if they try to escape the compounds and many other ways that are very horrific." Nonsense.  They are the most ethical and decent people on the planet.  They do not murder people.  This is simply ludicrous. "There are also some Hollywood movie stars that were or currently are in the cult. Some of them being Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Kirstie Alley, Nicole Kidman (not sure), and Issac Hayes." Yes, these are all very nice people.  The fact that they are in Scientology goes along with the fact that Scientology is very nice to nice people.  Or they wouldn’t be in it.  Would they? "I did not know that the stars are not to be killed. They are used for advertisement of Hubbard’s books and such things." Lies. "Before I started researching the cult, I saw some news stories on television that were Scientology related. It has been awhile, so I cannot remember what they were talking about." No need to remember lies about the Church anyway. "There is a yearly protest in Los Angeles, California for L. Ron Hubbard’s birthday." There is a yearly celebration, much much larger than any protest, for L. Ron Hubbard’s birthday. "Sueing people is a way that Scinetology uses to try to scilence people." Suing people is one way that the Church seeks to be compensated for what some evil doers do to the Church’s reputation and to protect the population from some people’s misinformation and derogatory lies. "The reason for that being that people that were in the cult for a number of years, but won’t talk publicly about what the cult is doing or wants to do." That is simply because leading questions are asked, implying facts which simply are not true, and also because people wouldn’t necessarily fully understand the answers, not knowing the full truth about things. "The cult members are told not to watch television shows about Scientology. The reason for that being so that they can be lied to, and so they do not find out what the real purpose of Scinetology is." No, that is not the reason at all.  The reason is that many lies are told about the Church and upper level confidential materials are talked about, both of which can harm people emotionally who are already involved in the Church.  The fact that those shows harm everyone is not emphasized as most people wouldn’t understand that unless they know a lot about the subject of Scientology.  But that is a fact, too.  The real purposes of Scientology are all known about very early into one’s involvement with it and there are no ulterior or hidden or false purposes in Scientology.  There may be confidential management strategies, but confidentiality at that level is done merely to avoid confusion and misunderstanding and the undermining of efficiency by or in the population, not to withold anything evil whatsoever. "Through the short time that I have been researching Scientology, I have found out about a character named "Xenu." Xenu was a Galatic Ruler that Hubbard dreamed up one day to sell to his followers." No, it is as Mr. "The only reason for Scientology to exist is for one reason, that reason is to make money for the founder L. Ron Hubbard." Uh huh.  If so, where is all that money going?  To another planet?  No, it is going to support Church activities, which are all constructive and pro-survival activities. "Scientology was started in the year of 1953." Wrong.  But close enough. "The information on this web site is subject to correction when I find mistakes, as well as subject to additions as I learn more about the Scientology cult. Much of the information found on this web site was collected off of the Operation Clambake web site www.xenu.net." Andreas’ site is riddled with false and derogatory misinformation.  Too bad.  You’ve gone to the wrong place. "For facts on the cult term "auditing", please go to the Stacy Brooks interview page." Nonsense.  You should never listen to Stacy Brooks on any subject. Phil

Congratulations Bryan, you have bought into all the lies told about my Church.  Well done.  I bet that was easy for you to do. Would you also like some shock treatment?  Some psych drugs?  Some more misinformation about the mind and spirit?  I’m sorry, I cannot help you with those things.  Those things are against my religion. How’s your father doing?  Is he cheering you on?  Of course he is.  You’re his son.  Like father, like son. from www.moneycult.org interview with Stacy Brooks: "Question 2) Do you know exactly what the purpose of Scientology is?" "Answer:  There are two different answers to that question. One answer is what Scientology says publicly, not only to people outside of Scientology but also its own members. The other is known only to a handful of people at the top of Scientology. When I was in Scientology I was one of that handful at the top, so I know the real purpose." "The public purpose of Scientology is to create a world without insanity, without war, and without criminality, where honest people have rights and people are free to rise to greater heights. This is close to a verbatim description of the purpose of Scientology that Scientologists are told and that others like the media, courts and political figures are told." "A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of  Scientology."  L. Ron Hubbard So easy to quote verbatim, this woman altered it as usual.  That’s the usual for her. "This is what I myself believed when I got into it, and it is the purpose to which I dedicated my life. I truly believed, as almost every Scientologist does, that I was part of an organization that was honestly trying to make the world a better place. It was only when I was promoted to the top of Scientology’s hierarchy that I discovered that this purpose I had thought I was pursuing was a front for the real purpose." "In fact, the leaders of Scientology have a totalitarian political agenda." That is false.  It is purely non-political in nature and eschews politics in all of its varied humanitarian activities. "Their purpose is literally to take over the world, and they have a ruthless drive to do so." If Stacy had any idea what it was about anymore she would not make a derogatory statement like this.  Taking over is misleading, and implies control that is not welcomed, control that thwarts the self-determinism of the population.  This is not what is intended.  Scientology is not a totalitarian thing at all.  Harmonious alignment is what is intended, with participation in the purely pro-survival goals of Scientology by all who wish to do so, and freedom from persecution of their religious practice. There is no valid reason to imply that any enslavement is imminent, because Scientology is all about freeing the individual members of mankind, not enslaving them.  Those who would oppose it perhaps fear enslavement, such as perhaps they have tried to get away with of others in the past, and punishment for their crimes which they fear will be exposed to all. "There are many secret directives by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard that spell out how to go about gaining worldwide control." It was/is simply due to his very positive outlook, like that of a conqueror.  But that is simply because he was very enthusiastic about Church efforts and it is more efficacious to speak like that.  If you were in a leadership position, supervising many very courageous underlings, you would appreciate the positivity and forthrightness of the military style, too. And so have his management personnel. "Hubbard’s purpose was to gain control by whatever means necessary, and that purpose has now been adopted by the people who took over after Hubbard died in 1986." As above, good control does not imply enslavement or domination to the detriment of people’s free will at all.  It is leadership and guidance, not domination. "To this end, Scientology is working to take over control of the heads of governments, the media, financial institutions, and to gain "overwhelming public popularity" in the general public." To use the phrase ‘take over’ is misleading and derogatory and speaks of the fear of the cowardly few criminals who stand to lose their positions and wherewithal once the truth comes out about their criminality and they are ousted (by their own).  To fully inform, educate and to enlist the aid of such types of people would be more appropriate to say. "At the same time, they have ruthless policies for dealing with their perceived enemies." There certainly has been much stink made about these policies.  But to say they were bad would be to misunderstand the policy makers intentions completely.  This is a very vicious war-ridden planet, and the Church has come under attack, merely because it intends to undermine and eradicate the evil forces on this planet, which threaten the survival of all.  These evil forces cannot be dealt with in the least bit as ‘friends’ (as the Founder found out very quickly) as they are too ruthless themselves (such as Nazi psychiatrists).  They often try to point the finger back at the Church, even for their own misdeeds and employ propaganda machines such as the Internet to spread misinformation and lies.  Like your site, Bryan.  Didn’t know that about yourself?  Well, you’ve been brainwashed. "To the leadership of Scientology, anyone who is critical of Scientology in any way is considered an enemy, so there are many, many people who have been targeted for harassment, intimidation, and, if necessary, utter ruination by the Scientology leadership." That is just because of the evil that they are doing.  Some appear to have no idea what a damaging impact they are creating on honest decent innocent people.  Is that true for you Bryan? Do you realize what damage you are causing to an innocent Church and the people of Earth? Phil

A new web site called MoneyCult.ORG was created as a result of my High School current events class.  Here you will find interviews I took of well known civil and human rights activists and a report on what I found out about the Scientology cult.  The web site isn’t finished because I still need to add a lot of web pages that are missing and I will be getting feed-back forms and questionnaires for people to fill out and send in automatically using E-mail.     I find it interesting that you put the words "human rights activists"

and "scientology cult" together. Don’t  Christians or regular Americans care about human rights? (excepth the bull crap one about being allowed to own a deadly weapon) – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – One of the things that free speech activists might find the most interesting is what my High School’s policy is on using the school’s Internet access to perform research on cults and gangs.  I found that most schools don’t allow their students to access this kind of information because the parents, teachers, and Principles fear that students might get involved in joining cults. Everyone who helped me with my school project is given a "thank you very much!" and if anyone else has suggestions or comments, please send them to me.  I hope to build this web site up so that students at other High Schools can use the Money Cult web site as an example of how Social Science class projects or current events projects can take a look at dangerous cults without angering the PTA, the school’s Principal, students, and teachers. If you’ve been victimized by Scientology and would like to have your story covered on the Money Cult web site, please take a look at the questionnaire and send me e-mail covering what happened to you and I will add to it the site. Thank you. Bryan L. Rice, The Money Cult — Send information concerning incidents of racketeering and terrorism by the Scientology cult to the Domestic Terrorism Scientology’s L.
