A Singaporean discovers India.

Question:

 - snipped – Just saw a TV report about a US-victim who spent 16 years in prison, being sentenced to death. Now the real criminal was found and he was finally freed, thanks to some human rights organisation. What you call "beyond reasonable doubt" is a justice system which at the same time performs public masturbation with Clinton and Monica. I don’t want to depend my life on such kind of jokes.

There is no reason to believe that people get wrongly accused very often. But I am quite sure a person like you would prefer to let your neighbourhood murderer goes free, so that the next day he can come and show his gratitude by massacring your entire family.  - snipped – Extremists are people who kill innocents or defend the killing of innocents.

Extremists are any kind of people who falls on any one extreme of an argument. And you qualify. But I assume discussing civilisation with you is a waste of time.

Just like you are.                                 /ndre// //acLane — Q: Why did the Chicken cross the road? A: What? I missed one? (Colonel Sanders, KFC)

Response:

Very poor comeback. I would very typical of Singaporeans… Please start from the beginning and speak clearly.

Oh La, Sorry La. You felt hurt la. As of speaking clearly, it should be "writing clearly" and I guess a Singaporean should be the last one to tell me this ;-) Take care with roti prata

And you unqualified pilot, speak to us in English, and not inglish. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Yes. Speak real slowly. And don’t use any of your broken "singlish" on us, please. Very poor comeback. I would very typical of Singaporeans… Please start from the beginning and speak clearly.

Response:

What language are you writing, Mr. Puttar. I cannot understand you. Very poor comeback. I would very typical of Singaporeans… It is a mystery to you because you also have a butthead.

– Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I would like to point out that this butthead Singaporean regulary posts narrow minded condescension about India. Why he goes there at all and not just stay in his sanitised Mickey Mouse totalitarian state is a complete mystery to me. Regards, Stephen, Hong Kong.

Response:

It is totally justifiable to execute a drug pusher. Drugs destroy not just a person who takes them but also his family and loved ones.

Let’s see – alcohol also destroy families. Perhaps we should just hang owners of niteclubs and bars. Oh wait, how about the supermarkets that sell them. Yeah, lets hang ‘em all. Twisted Singapore logic at work. I agree with Stephen from HK, you *are* a butthead.

Bull-fucking-shit. Singaporeans may *SEEM* polite, but under the surface, they are one of the most hypocritically rude people in Asia. Your entire post is so fucking full of it.

Not so. They are polite, but are also by and large Conservartive in their outlook. Which you may confuse with hypocrisy. <snip cartels. But in the papers you get the proud faces of your police and customs officials beaming at the cameras having arrested some poor bastard who was told he /  she was on a milk run ‘taking something to another country’ unaware that it consisted of drugs.

Surely, if true, this is a problem with the relevant authorities rather than all Singaporeans as a whole?  You are a lot of hypocritical, mendacious, sanctimonious bastards who murder stupid people while the drug problem, the REAL drug problem rages on unabated in the world; in in doing so you are unwittingly helping it.  Your attitude stinks, your hypocrisy is lower than contemptible and your smugness makes me want to vomit. Have I been understood or do you want me to use more colourful language? Stephen, Hong Kong

Yes, for whatever reasons you don’t like Singaporeans, and use the subject of drug smuggling to have a go at them. oli

 - snipped – It is totally justifiable to execute a drug pusher. Drugs destroy not just a person who takes them but also his family and loved ones. And what does death penalty destroy, especially in the cases where the victim might be innocent?

So you mean there shouldn’t be any death penalty even if it is proven beyond reasonable doubt that the subject is guilty of the crime? There is indeed no scientific proof that death penalty lowers the criminal rate.  The country with one of the highest criminal rates worldwide (USA) executes dozens of people every year, but it doesn’t have any real effect. Countries who execute alleged criminals have a low standard in civilisation. These include Singapore and the USA as well.

There is no scientific proof that countries withouth death penalty has a higher standard in civilization either. In fact, if you do come from a country without death penalty, your extremist views is a clear sign that the standards in civilization in your country isn’t anywhere higher than those with death penalty.                                 /ndre// //acLane — Bullshitting might get you to the top. Response:

Shouldn’t the title be "A Singaporean Prude discovers India"? Thank heavens they have not let the likes of Lee Kuan You run India. Can you imagine – getting whipped for kissing in the cinemas!

Can you imagine people kissing inside the MRT? If you can’t, then have a look at it yourself. Are you communist or what?

Thank you for that. It’s nice to get people agreeing with one; and whilst on the thread I want to address some other piece of contemptible hypocrosy and ignorance that the Singaporean posted earlier regarding the ‘execution of drug carriers.’   It seems that he / she is totally unaware of the mechanics of drug smuggling (hardly surprising though).   Does he really think that the apprehension and killing of one smuggler carrying say up to 10K of dope is in any way going to make the slightest indent on the drug consumption in Asia? Go and do some research and find exactly how much narctotics are abused in the SE Asian region. You will find that the amount is such that arresting one person carrying shit at your airport is tantamount to attacking the illegal cigarette trade in China by stopping one persone who’s carrying two or three packs over their limit of duty frees.   What usually happens is this: an innocent is duped or coerced to carry a fairly sizable quantity of dope in his (and often hers as Asian women are often more guulible / afraid)  hand luggage or baggage. Then the pusher tips of the authorities in Singapore. These people make then such a song and dance about arresting this person, abusing their human rights and then murdering them in the face of international apeals that the big consignment of dope slips through your damned airport unnoticed because the heads of your police department and politicians have had their bribes from the drugs cartels. But in the papers you get the proud faces of your police and customs officials beaming at the cameras having arrested some poor bastard who was told he /  she was on a milk run ‘taking something to another country’ unaware that it consisted of drugs. It is totally justifiable to execute a drug pusher. Drugs destroy not just a person who takes them but also his family and loved ones.Selling them is something that has both my odium and contempt. Singapore works towards a nation where people dont take drugs and make a nuisance of themselves by stealing to feed their habits.I am quite glad my Government does this. My children will grow up in a country where drugs will not be readily available. You called me a butthead. It is there for all to see. I reproduce it below: Steve said: I would like to point out that this butthead Singaporean regulary posts narrow minded condescension about India. Regards, Stephen, Hong Kong.  Anyway, as Voltaire said: I disagree with what you say but I will defend to death your right to say it. Period. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – So anyone who disagrees with Stephen Austin’s held views is a butthead. Don’t be so stupid. I never claimed that. Why are you deliberately misreading what I put? And to think that all these whites claimed they were liberals who accepted opinions, wise or otherwise. I don’t think I would accept ‘otherwise.’ Those  Singaporean posts about ‘Discovering [sic] India’ are insularity elevated to a religious level which I detest and tends to make me comment strongly. If you have a problem with that then you know what you can do with it, don’t you? As Voltaire said : I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to death your right to say it. Please cut out the cliched Voltaire quotes especially as your post manifestly shows you don’t adhere to it. It’s so embarrassing. And thanks for the comments, Stephen. It shows you have been reading this buttheads butts. I have no idea what you mean by this. And I won’t be calling you names. It is not the done thing in this sanitised state. I do not fear calling you names. We Asians are just to polite to do so. But never hesitate to patronise, be insolent, hypocritical and supercilious eh? I know what I prefer. And is it not ‘polite’ to summarily execute unwitting drug carriers?

It’s a pity that this politeness doesn’t extend to summary executions of people who inadvertently carry drugs into your state.

There are people who actually reported lost lugguage, stating 10 kilos of cocaine as contents so that they can claim insurance???  LOL.

Can you imagine – getting whipped for kissing in the cinemas! – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Eating Out. The tasty morsels are called gol guppas. The man standing at the street corner serves them to you after dipping them into a solution. The Indians I watched eating them enjoyed themselves. Each was personally dipped into the solution by the vendor. Nobody asked if his hands had been washed. Or what he had done manually before dipping them .Nobody complained about the flies buzzing about the gol guppas before they were dipped and handed over. Indians remain suckers for gol guppas , swallowing them with a brimful of bacteria. I declined the gol guppas. Not for me the dreaded Delhi belly.
