The altar stone is the clitoris and the open center is the birth canal. Unfortunately, Stonehenge is on a flat plane and, as far as I know, the ancient Druids did not have aircraft so they had no way of viewing it "from above". Thus, this is more Pago-feminist bullshit So, you think they just threw it together without a design? Dammit!.. you’re stupid, fOtty!! heeeheeeee P
Yeah, but he also forgot to mention the ancient druids didn’t have cameras, either. hehehe Gargoyle, The Evil Mr. Peanut –

You are as ignorant as you are fat. That’s a hell of a lot of ignorance. You don’t have to view anything from above to build it, or do you ascribe to ancient astronauts? If we didn’t have airplanes we wouldn’t know what things looked like from above…YET…buildings, temples and other structures have been created for thousands of years. They had symbolic purpose, created on ground level for use on ground level. Aerial views simply give us more insight into the overall design of structures, and hopefully, some insight into the purpose of their use….what went on in the minds of their creators. They are clues, not reasons. For someone who SUPPOSEDLY practices magic, you should be keenly aware of the role of symbolic imitative magic, at least in history if not in practice. You should, as a SUPPOSEDLY educated person be aware of the cultural and ritual connections between ideas and religion. But you are just a fat loser who lies about his education and shows that it is a lie, everyday. Pip

Thanks TW9, it was an interesting read. One thing that might support this theory, is that the same has already been said of the underground chambers in Malta. These chambers pre date stonehenge, and are considered to be a model for later megalithic structures in western Europe. When we went to Arbor Low in the UK, the first thing P. said was that it looked like a cunt.
Heh, I didn’t spot that when I was there, only when I saw an aerial photo afterwards. Then realised that what my small daughter skinned her knee on was probably the equivalent of a Bartholin’s gland *g* Jani These simpler and smaller stone – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – circles, that still have all of the defining features a major circles., are sometimes easier to determine what the important features in common they all have. What confuses people like fotass, is that it isn’t the stone circle that poses this image, its usually the ring and ditch in the earthworks. Its also been proposed that these ring and ditch structures simulate caves, in that caves, all over the world, are used as womb like places of worship. The Maltese underground structures show very clearly that they are artificial caves, made into temples. Barrows are considered to be artificial caves for the same reason…regeneration. It does not take too much imagination to see henge and ditch structures as symbolic caves, minus the roof…for purely symbolic purposes. The Maltese temples show all of these features, an artificial cave, megalithic internal structure, burials in portions, and it predates all other circles. Key in Arbor Low for some images. There are aerial pictures and reconstructions. Key in Malta and follow the links. Stonehenge Depicts Female Genitalia, Researchers Say Reuters TORONTO (Reuters) – Stonehenge is a massive fertility symbol, according to Canadian researchers who believe they have finally cracked the mystery of the ancient monument in southern England. In the arrangement of the stones, the researchers say they have spotted the original design: female genitalia. The theory is laid out in a paper entitled "Stonehenge: a view from medicine" in the July issue of Britain’s Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine. "To the builders of the henge, the most critical events in life were birth and death," Anthony Perks, a retired professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of British Columbia, wrote in the paper. He noted there was no evidence of tombs built by the original builders. "Of birth, we could expect little evidence. However, evidence may be there but so large as to be overlooked." Viewed from above, Perks suggests Stonehenge’s inner bluestone circle represents the labia minora and the giant outer sarsen stone circle is the labia majora. The altar stone is the clitoris and the open center is the birth canal. "Could the outer avenue of Stonehenge…represent the way by which new life entered?" the article wondered, adding that when comparing "the layout of the henge with the anatomy of the human vulva. There is a distinct similarity." Perks, who is traveling in England, could not be reached for comment. The mysterious ancient monument on Salisbury Plain is recognized around the world for its circle of standing stones. Perks said the ancient sacrificed child found at nearby Woodhenge bolsters his theory and said an excavation at Stonehenge could produce a similar find. "In ancient societies, ideas of a dominant creator, a Mother or Earth Goddess, were widespread," Perks wrote. "If ideas of Earth Mother originated with, or were shared by, the people of the henge, Stonehenge could represent, symbolically, the opening by which Earth Mother gave birth to the plants and animals on which the ancient people so depended. "The henge would honor her for giving them both life and livelihood." Scholars say Stonehenge, a World Heritage site, was built between 3000 and 1600 BC. Theories for why it was built range from a temple, an astronomy site, and a variety of spiritual and temporal purposes. For a time during the Bronze Age, 2000 BC to 800 BC, Stonehenge was used for ceremonial burials of local chieftains.

Hehehe, it’s easy to find ancient naughty bits in nearly every culture. I giggle every time we drive past this oriental restaurant near my house, it has a pair of traditional Korean "Grandfather" statues out front, they’re so obviously phallic!

Hey, at least he’s being honest for once! — "Given for one instant an intelligence which could comprehend all the forces by which nature is animated and the respective positions of the things which compose it…nothing would be uncertain, and the future as the past would be laid out before its eyes." – Pierre Simon de Laplace
