it comes back to the old feminist slogan "all men are potential rapists." in the late 70s when I was in college, one of my female classmates said that to me.  I was taken aback.   After thinking a while, I replied "it’s just as true as saying ‘all women are potential whores’ "  if looks could kill, my classmate would have been guilty of murder.  She told me that my statement was not true.  When I asked what part of it wasn’t true, she replied that women don’t want to be whores.  and I replied that men don’t want to be rapists.  And she shot back "but men rape women !!"   and I said, "and there arewomen who are whores.  so what? out of the billions and billions of men and women on the planet how many are rapists and whores?"  she didn’t talk to me for the rest of the semester.
