Need assistance on Michigan divorce form

Question:

Some statistics…and especially for Bje…this explains his 91% figure. Braver found 75% were filed by women, Judith Wallerstein found 65% were filed by women "in face of opposition" by the husband, and Constance Ahrons stated that "between two-thirds and three-quarters of all divorces are initiated by the wife." There are no studies that find men file more. None. The 91% figure is from Shere Hite. One can speculate why her figure is so high, though the one that comes to mind is that she wanted to show how problematic marriage was for women. That theme was taken up by other feminists, who say it shows how men are disappointing women in marriage. NPR did a show on it about two years ago, with a feminist pushing the 75% figure. Interestingly enough,  a book on the family written about 25 years ago also stated that 75% of all divorces are filed by women. There weren’t as many divorces, but the woman usually filed. Hi!     If you have information and/or statistics on divorce and the children of divorced parents, please don’t hesitate.     These information can be only the way divorce procedures and child custody are handled (or mishandled) in your neck of the wood.
