Perhaps this how many men really feel deep inside,( more than you think) a person couldn’t really express their real feelings in the work place or in a public place. I don’t think many women would express their real feeling out loud in public, if their real thoughts were likely to cause great hostility. Cowardly maybe, but how many times have you seen someone you hate without telling them or hitting them, many of us are cowards, and not many people like direct confrontation. Perhaps if women were nicer people, there wouldn’t be so many misogynists around.

These men wouldn’t dare show up, say, at their jobs, in front of their friends, in front of their wives friends, etc, and say these things. While it’s disturbing that there is so much of it going on, it’s true that there isn’t really any way to respond to them, unless you wanted to play games. There are guys everywhere doing this. I am overwhelmed at how much aggressive woman-hating is going on. I know I’m not really responding to your request (I would like to, but don’t even know where to begin), but, what is the reason for all this? I can’t even believe that there are so many of them out there! What century, are we in, anyway? Where do these guys come from? I don’t know how to kick somebody’s ass who says the kinds of things you are referring to. In some ways it seems they are kicking their own asses. I can’t believe that it would be possible to get into any kind of serious discussion with them. You know, if someone posts something that just basically says something angry and full of hate, no rational response is expected or appreciated. I would think. But, if anyone knows why there is so much of this (by ‘this’ I mean posts like the ones mentioned and others (check out alt.feminism)) please speak up!
