OT quote of the day – Dec 11

Question:

"Mythology’s identification of women with nature is correct. The male contribution to procreation is momentary and transient. Conception is a pinpoint of time, another of our phallic peaks of action, from which the male slide back uselessly. The pregnant woman is daemonically, devilishly complete. As an ontological entity, she needs nothing and no one."                      ~ Camille Paglia — The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm

Camille Paglia has managed to set the woman’s movement back 50 years. She came on the scene, bashing the heroes of the movement, saying her ‘brand’ of feminism was better. Her brand seems to be all about bitchiness. I can’t stand that woman. Just my 2 cents. Deirdre — The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm

God help the man that refuses to make a midnight run to the all night convenience store for pickles and ice cream :)

Am I ever glad that there is no prospect of doing that again…nearest town with a store open at that time is maybe 40 miles away<;-! — Ron P Just remember….if the world didn’t suck, we’d all fall off. — The charter is available at: http://readystump.algebra.com/~asapm
