Congratulations, Pam. I’ve been away for a couple of days and just got this news. It’s Christmas Eve now, so I guess you’ll be bringing Jen and AJ home pretty soon. What a wonderful Christmas present. I can just picture the scene at your place. A REAL nativity. Thanks for sharing your joy. Give them a hug for me. Hi everyone this is Jennie (Pam’s daughter). I never come to the news groups but I was bored and my hubby was trying out a new news reader so… I just wanted to drop a line and thank everyone for all of your wonderful thoughts and prayers. Somebody must have been listening (or at the very least so sick of being bugged by you all that He answered just to shut you up
Thanks again). Love, Jennie P.S. Believe it or not in spite of the 10lb size it wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be (although A.J. was almost named after the anesthesiaologist, thank you God for the epidural cause back labor SUCKS). My husband kept yelling at me for not resting enough right after we came home but I felt fine just a little sore. I could do this a lot….. But not this week
Prayers to you all and mom will keep you informed about my health and A.J. God bless.

Congratulations Grandma Pam And to Jen and everyone else involved. Pregnancy generally has a slight reduction in exacerbation rate but the following year has a higher rate of exacerbation than what would be expected. This is felt to be due to the extra workload and compromised sleep pattern. Giving Jen the odd weekend off will probably not do much good but a reduction her work load on a daily basis is felt to make a difference in the long run.. Again, all the best to everyone and in the next millenium I’ll be looking for the Scotchman.
