Nothing like a bit of self-rightousness from the right wing, where pardons were practically invented. : Ken Starr may have other nominees as well, but unfortunately, : he won’t reveal them till after Nov 5. Starr, UNLIKE Walsh is not partisan). In fact, Starr is extremely partisan, which is why he can’t use indictments to help the right wing win the election. He knows what an uproar it would cause. Walsh is a Republican, which is something you people on the right wing can’t bring yourself to admit. — Buddy K

Pardon me, but it was one pardon, Secretary of Defense Cap Weinberger that Dole recommended. I’d pardon him any day over the likes of Susan McDougal, Jim McDougal, Web Hubbell, Craig Livingstone, etc. (the first three are already in JAIL, someplace Weinberger never was, and the other guy may yet follow.
